I pulled this ivory and spring green glimmering metallic threaded tweed skirt from the boutique clothing racks today because I was looking at it and thinking, ‘That tinselly tweed mini skirt would make an amazing Christmas party outfit!’ So, I then thought, ‘Get that on ravingmavenretro.com so some cute little Maven elf can snatch it up for the upcoming holidays.’ That being said, this skirt could cover every season based on style (winter), color (spring), length (summer), and material (fall).
 
I tried a plethora of times to capture the magnificence of this mini and it is just impossible. No photo that I took did it justice. This clothing item might need to be sold at the in-person boutiques because it twinkles and catches the light like a shooting star. 
 
It is made by J. Crew. It is a WOMEN’S size 2.    The waist measures 14.5 inches across, hips measure 18.5 inches across, and skirt length is 15.5 inches. It is a cotton blend shell: cotton, polyamide, acrylic, polyester (lining), and wool. It has a zipper back with hook and eye closure. It has positively frabjous fringe! The whole garment is a bunch of things at once—classy and classic, preppy and a little punk rock, casual and a fancy cocktail party wardrobe piece. It’s a chameleon! It’s all how you dress it up.
