Raving Maven Retro is a woman-owned small business. The boutique is owned by Heather Angelika Dooley. She is also a published author, artist, screen printer, scenic builder, skilled in car restoration, and a former club deejay. Raving Maven is a single mother to a college-age daughter. She enjoys reading outside underneath the shade of trees, writing poetry listening to her favorite playlists in her headphones, hiking anywhere that is enchanting, watching independent and art films, swimming in the Eno river, day drives to the beach, cooking simple and elaborate meals, trying new restaurants (and specifically international cuisine), traveling absolutely anywhere, collecting vintage and modern toys, delighting in miniature dollhouses, participating in philanthropy volunteer work, and dancing - it does not matter if it is at a music venue or in her living room!
